BD2K Summer UP is a collaboration between California State University Monterey Bay, Southern University Baton Rouge, and the University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras with the UCSC Center for Big Data in Translational Genomics. Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Education Program, BD2K Summer UP supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this program is to support educational activities that enhance the diversity of the biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research workforce.
